I have some good good news. Not only do I have good news, I have good news times two.
Which do you want first, the good news or the good news?
The good news is I have been meditating every morning for 40 minutes.
That alone has been such a miracle. I get up a bit earlier and I go to bed a bit earlier. My meditation makes me feel focused and calm and really present.
I love it, and there is nothing in this world that will make me give it up. I do it like clockwork.
The other good news is that I have been keeping a meditation journal. I know you aren't supposted to think about things while you are meditating. I know that, but I do want to make good use of the vibes and big mind that I get into. It gives me perspective and good energy, and I want to make use of that. So naturally after I meditate, I take a few minutes to write. I will usually write about how my meditation went. That helps me reflect and keep accountable over time to problem patterns. I also write down ideas that came to me either before or during meditation. I could use this post-meditation totally to jumpstart my creative writing, but unfortunately I do not have enough time before I have to get my day started.
That is my recommendation to everyone : sit and meditate each morning without fail, and your meditation will not fail you. Keep a meditation journal and record your good ideas and reflect on your meditation.
You will be levitating in no time.
